I receive an error when launching the content uploader

Symptom

When starting the content uploader, an error message is displayed that an unexpected error occurred. The error message indicates 'java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space'.


Resolution

In order to resolve the symptom mentioned above, please try one of the folllowing suggestions

  1. Install a new version of Java on your computer. Please visit the Java SE Runtime Environment 8 Downloads website to download the latest supported version of Java on your computer.

  2. Increase the Java memory for the content uploader / management module. For more information on this, please read Increase Java memory for the content uploader / management module.


If none of the above mentioned methods resolve the issue, please contact Zeticon support.
